The Troop does not supply individual camping gear items such as back packs, boots, mess kits, reusable water bottles, flashlights or sleeping bags, ground pads and rain gear but gives guidance to Scouts for places to purchase personal equipment.

Troop 140 has a wide array of camping supplies to support the Troop on monthly day trips or a weekend overnight trip or a weeklong summer camping trip. The Troop supplies tents, canopies, lanterns, storage boxes, cooking gear and propane stoves and miscellaneous necessities for patrol or entire Troop needs as the event demands, and safety'/first aid kits all transported in the Troops new tandem axle trailer. The Troop also has a small supply of sleeping bags and backpacks for an as needed loaner basis.

All donations of outdoor camping gear are always accepted.
