Forestburg Summer Camp 2025

Forestburg Scout Reservation is located in New York State between Port Jervis and Monticello.  It offers over 1200 acres of woodlands, streams, trails, and a lake for swimming and boating.  Try the zip line or the monkey bridge to get across the lake.  Visit our tech center to get your new neckerchief slide from the 3D printer or put the finishing touches on your robot.  Enjoy your meals at our dining hall or have your patrol cook your meals at our Dan Beard camp. And don't forget to visit our 90-foot cascading waterfall, Darlington Falls.

Quail Hill Scout Reservation Weekend Camping

Quail Hill Scout Reservation offers 250 acres of woodlands, streams, meadows, fields, pool and pond located in western Monmouth County. Year round camping opportunities include tent sites, cabins, and lean-tos. The Cub Scout summer camp program offers both day and residence camp.

Camp facilities include a pool, BB and archery range, picnic areas with pavilion, and a dining hall. These facilities are available for daily usage such as a picnic, court of honor or a training class. More details on all of the facilities of our camp are listed out to the right.

Veterans Day VFW Parade

The parade is sponsored by VFW Post 2179 and the Township of Middletown. The parade will assemble at 12:30 PM at Bayview Elementary School and step off at 1:00 PM. Parade announcements will be made at the podium located at Strollo's Lighthouse (83 Leonardville Road) in Belford.

The approximately 2.3-mile route will begin at Bayview Elementary School, travel down Leonardville Road and proceed through Campbell’s Junction, turn right at Cherry Tree Farm Road, turn right onto Wilson Avenue, and turn right at Garrett Place, ending at the rear entrance to VFW Post 2179. Refreshments will be served at VFW Post 2179 (1 Veterans Lane, Port Monmouth) immediately following the parade.

Troop Camping - JERSEY 360 Jamboree

Jersey 360 Jamboree will have Scouting activities planned for both Scouts, BSA and Cub Scouts, Fireworks, BMX Bike Show, Illusionist Anthony Salaszar and music by the Benjimin’s! Jersey 360 Jamboree is going to be an opportunity to not only help celebrate the 360th anniversary of the state of New Jersey, but also take part in a premiere program event hosted by Patriots' Path Council.is going to be an opportunity to not only help celebrate the 360th anniversary of the state of New Jersey, but also take part in a premiere program event hosted by Patriots' Path Council.

The event will take place at the Sussex County Fair Ground in beautiful Augusta, NJ. Dates for the event are October 25-27, 2024.

Make your Unit Commitment today, which will you to select your unit's premier campsite on a first come first serve basis. The unit commitment is for both Scouts BSA and Cub Scouts. There are separate camping areas for both progrtams.

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) gives adult leaders the practical knowledge they need to help Scouts to learn outdoor skills. The skills presented closely follow the Boy Scout Handbook and rank advancement requirements. This is a required training course for all Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmasters.

This Outdoor course is normally offered in the Spring and Fall of each year.
