Troop 140 Welcomes You!

Adventure for Scouts Ages 11-18

Looking for a place where you can explore the great outdoors, learn valuable life skills, give back to the community with volunteer service hours and make lifelong friendships?

Troop 140 is all about the outdoor adventures, teamwork, providing a helping hand or community service and scouts gaining personal growth!

Whether it's hiking, camping, biking, whitewater rafting, community service or learning skills and earning merit badges towards advancement along their Trail to Eagle Scout (scouting’s highest youth rank), we teach confidence, leadership skills, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

  • Building Leaders

Troop 140 is proud of it's history and it's 135 Eagle Scouts. Our programs instill the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law in youth, helping them develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, and good citizenship. Learn to lead, serve and believe in yourself through programs that prepare you for careers and life.

  • Events

Join in our exciting adventure of fun, adventure and service. Rafting trips, camping trips to scout camps, state and local parks, trips to historic locations like Gettysburg, Valley Forge, USS Massachusetts, West Point and Annapolis and much more!

  • Making a Difference

We make a difference in our community through our service. We support local Food Pantries with our Annual Food Drive. We support beautification and improvements to various non-profit groups with Eagle Scout Service Projects. We serving as the Color Guard at school events and support our Veterans are just a few of the many things we are involved in.

  • Outdoor Skills

We create opportunities to acquire skills that make our scouts more self-reliant. Turn high energy into exciting and rewarding challenges, while helping them discover answers to the questions they’re starting to ask.
